Each year, all Summer Camps throughout the Heartland District partner together to give a mission’s offering to a specific Foursquare Mission’s project.

This year, our hearts are burdened in the midst of the largest refugee crisis since World War II. As millions flee terror in the Middle East, they pass through the nation of Turkey, where some will remain while others continue to Europe and other nations.

Although we are concerned for all, we are particularly mindful of the vulnerable: children and seniors. As winter approaches, and many are seeking shelter in unsafe and unheated buildings, we want to help—and we invite you to join us in doing so.

Through partnership with The Foursquare Church in Turkey and Foursquare Disaster Relief, we as the church have the opportunity to get involved, and support our brothers and sisters as they care firsthand for Middle East refugees. We will help feed hundreds of families every week, assist in Church planting and Bible Studies, provide wheelchairs and other practical needs to those injured in the war, especially children, provide emotional support and counseling to parents whose children have been injured in the war and educate children who otherwise have no chance of education due to having fled their country.

IF YOU ARE BRINGING A MISSIONS CHECK TO CAMP

Please make the check out directly to Foursquare Missions International, or FMI, and place in the memo line “MENACA Refugees”.
